i posted this like a noob lol without doing a search for it ..go figure guess ill be getting smited lol..any way
i use Azureus.
ive heard alot about this U torrent is this any better than the Azureus i use?i started out getting them thru lime wire Pro but that took forever it seemed like..i have great speeds with Azureus... http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/7042/azdltimezp7.png .this file only took 52.5 minutes ..been to skeptical to try others..as far as memory usage i have 2gigs and don't have very much problems with it eating my mem..and i have great download speeds..i too am in college and am afraid of getting caught by the admin..so i use azureus for that purpose..you guys are ranting so much about this utorrent though lol...will it do much of an increase in any speed or seeding? for me?should i risk it. i dont download much i mean an episode i missed or a game i wanna try before i buy.so im unsure on which way i should go.
your thoughts?

I use uTorrent. I've heard that it often takes a significant amount of your web browsing speed but the only slowdown I've encountered is when I'm playing games. So far it's worked well for me and it's probably the easiest to use in my experience.

I use Azureus. It's pretty easy, and you can also just download a single track from a CD if you want and just choose not to download the others. It's pretty good. The speed is usually pretty good (probably not that much to do with the program...). It's not that complicated. I just have to click download and then if I want to customize stuff on it I can, but it's pretty straight-forward.

I use utorrent simply because it's light on resources and is really easy to use.

I use u torrent most of the time, but I do use Azureus when u torrent won't connect to the trackers or peers (It only happens every now and then, tried everything to fix it). Confused

I agree that utorrent uses very little resources and that Azureus is a resource hog (blame java), but if you run Azureus on a windows server OS (win2k, win2003, +) it does quite well. Cool
