I think intel is better and faster but I am using amd.

My computer specs:

LOL that's funny, cause linux needs barely anything to run fast - i bet that machine runs WELL fast

Well it runs faster than Vista, more or less the speed of XP (depending on what I'm doing), and looks sexier than both. I really need to stop tinkering with the insides though, I always screw up eventually and have to reinstall the OS. Funny when you think about it - I had to reinstall Windows every few months because of malware, yet I have to reisntall Ubuntu every few months because of myself... Laughing

That's why you should get a config you really like and STICK WITH IT Razz

That way, youw on't keep screwing it up - thus saving you LOTS of time Smile

No that won't work, Linux is too open for my own good...

Back on topic, here's the computer I'm fixing up for someone right now:

The poor thing is in desperate need of a GeForce 6200 since it lacks a dedicated video card slot...
