Updates on a few site features, new and old:

  • isoHunt Tickets! Many of us know that most artists make more from concerts and merchandizing than CD's or iTunes downloads. So next time you are looking for any live event tickets, perhaps while you are searching for promotional or otherwise free content offered by your favorite artists on isoHunt, consider hitting the Tickets tab at the top of this page above the search bar, or tickets.isohunt.com directly. You should find our ticket prices to be lower than what you'll likely find on the Web.
  • Frontpage news RSS : we have RSS feeds for all torrent search results for a long time now, but not for news posted on frontpage. Now you can subscribe to our latest news with the RSS button at top left on isoHunt.com.
  • Ability to delete .torrent download history from your Members login/preferences page, on top of enabling/disabling them as available before.
  • ReCaptcha for site registrations. With their slogan "Stop spam. Read books", there's something poetic about having spammers trying to teach their bots how to read books that the best computer scientists can't solve yet (OCR). And you get to help digitize old books as you register.

I was waiting for this topic. Is this a first a torrent based site offering ticket sales, Find a music torrent to download and if you like it, Bam buy tickets to see the artist I think its great It has a easy to use interface, Fast and efficient I believe I will purchase Van Halen tickets for the show in Dallas the 25th there are still some good seats listed and what the hell I haven't seen them since Van Hagar in the early 90's I'm due for a show.

Cool new features on an already bad ass site, gotta love the all powerful IH . Very Happy

Love the ticketing Option IH, and I have put together a little "how to" for the history removal, for users.

How to remove your torrent history.

Log into your account, (if your already logged in then log out and log back in).

You will find after you enter your username and password, the following option, Preferences Click " Delete past download history " link.
(Pictured)

When the pop up shows, (Pictured, below), click ok. The site will then remove any records of your downloads and torrent history.

Remember this is irreversible, you will not be able to look through your download history for good files you have previously downloaded after you remove the listing.

I liked being able to check my history, but some people may not want this option, so nice to see it available for those who did or didn't want it. Wink

In addition, when you delete torrent history, Torrents you have uploaded will still populate the list unless you delete the releases also.

Yes i think the ticket section is ver well designed and organised - with very clear options as to seats and day etc. Some searches may produce venues where there is no released fee yet - in those cases its best to call the isohunt ticket hotline on 866-459-9233 or use the email customersupport@tickets.isohunt.com Smile

Now that is an idea worthy of the site. Nice one. I spend more money on concerts than CD/DVD's anyway... Smile
