Comments, Tags, Ratings!

I have a, probably stupid, question. Where did the comments go? I know you guys are having issues with the courts. I feel horrible about that and if I weren't trying to keep my nose just above water level financially, I'd be donating to help the defense fund. I also wouldn't have had to let my ACLU membership run out. *sigh*

Anyway, when I search... either on google or isohunt... and I get the list of search results... when I click on the [+]Comments & Filenames link... I get a page with the poster's description (if any)... but no comments at all. =( Is there perhaps a forum or URL where I could find the comments? The comments have always gone a LONG way toward helping me decide whether it's a torrent I want to try or not. It's only one of the tools I use, but a big one. I'm hoping the comments are still accessible somewhere.

It seems the appropriate place, so here I go Razz

I am not new to isohunt which I have been using for years but relatively new to the forum, and definitely new to posting in it.

I never commented on torrents before since usually everything useful (and many useless things besides that) had already been said, but at the moment I am downloading again an excellent torrent which still has no comments, so I wanted to add one.

But... (there is always a "but") I can not.

I get this error message :

There were no URL in the comment, so I assume it is about reputation points.

As I said, this is my first try at comments, so sorry if this is a dumb question : How do I get enough reputation points to post my comment ?

all you need to do is fill out the captcha and click submit.

I am French, so sorry if this is obvious, by I can't find it in a dictionary.

I filled the form with the letters and pasted the text in the other form, if it what you speak of.

I think there is nothing else to fill, yet whenever I click « submit » I get the message I quoted.

captcha is just an anti spam measure and i'm not sure what you're copy pasting.the captcha pops up and you need to type whatever two words are in the box into the empty one and click submit.

the fakes aren't here,are easy to spot and i would suggest you lose the capslock.you've been here all this time and never read the the top of the home page i take it.this is an indexing site.you don't like the fakes,then go to all the sites where the files are coming from and have them remove them,that way we won't be able to index them.

So its our fault that you were looking for crap months before it was even available? Maybe you need to get a clue along with a grip of your caps lock. For someone who has been here 5 years you seem to have about as much knowledge as my dog sat outside. However even she doesn't doesn't go looking for crap to sniff.

As for control over fake files if you took the time to use that one brain cell rattling around in your head you would see that they are indexed. Not only that but if you wasnt in such a mad rush to derp all over the download button you would see sorting options which puts known fakes at the bottom of the pile. The system isn't tard proof though, so the easiest solution is just don't be a tard. Maybe something for you to work on when your not chucking fecal matter with the other monkeys.

Lastly we spend a lot of time catching spammers and fake torrents in our releases so your claim that their is no control shows a woeful amount of ignorance on your part. Of course, you don't read so probably aren't even aware there is a difference. Isohunt releases are released on Isohunt. The clue is in the title. Nevermind the slew of stickies and forum posts, disclaimers and links you are given when you sign up. Anyway enjoy the ban, I feel like I dropped to the IQ of a snail in a coma after responding to your post. Rolling Eyes
