Open Trackers List for new Torrents

Here's a trackers list of more than 50 trackers (195 links) . They all are OPEN (automatic) trackers . The list is formatted for uTorrent, so there are no udp addresses or column headings .

Since the similar trackers have been grouped without spaces, you can paste the list directly into uTorrent and then uTorrent will use only the first working tracker in each group, which is a nice thing to do. This will find you the maximum number of peers without wasting your precious bandwidth pinging redundant trackers. I assure you that adding line returns to the list, thereby activating the redundant servers, will not net you any more peers. Far better to enable DHT and PEX if you can! It's OK to add a trackers that require registration to this list if you're registered to any of them . e.g TorrentBox Tracker using the link : http://tracker.torrentbox.com:2710/announce

But get sure you're applying each Registered Tracker's RULES in your torrent & get sure that you Upload the torrent file to the Registered Tracker MANUALLY .

You also may want to add your torrent to Torrent Search Engines that doesn't collect torrents databases Automatically, so that your torrent becomes more popular . Some of those Search Engines Don't require a registeration (e.g : http://www.mininova.org ) .

Not exactly, I collected them .. I also used ur list Smile

The big managed list was pubished by Huggybaby , I just added another 2 small lists (your's & HBS's list) after removing repeated trackers ..

Important : The list has been rearranged so that sites require to be listed first are on the top of the list.

Well you can't but the chance you hit into like 10 offline trackers on a torrent is minimal.

So just pick a few and you should be alright, no need to get nervious if they work or not, as i said the chances a minimal all your trackers you choose will be offline,

for users wanting to use trackers on the list, remember, dont use them all!! just pick 2- 9, whilst its good to have multiple trackers, to many and it will slow down the torrent due to all the pings..

i'm seeding my very first torrent. if i update/change its trackers, will it break the hash & drop the peers downloading off me? do i have to re-upload a new torrent each time?

Pretty much yes the trackers are in the .torrent file that is uploaded to a site you can't change that.
