Based on the list I originally found in this thread, these are all functioning, and reporting back as of today.

I've included the ones from thetazzzz , minus denis.stalker.. Wink

I've made the list copy and paste for making torrents in uTorrent:

Code:
http://tv.tracker.prq.to:80/announce.php

 http://tracker.prq.to:80/announce.php

 http://tv.tracker.prq.to/announce

http://tv.tracker.prq.to:80/announce

http://tv.tracker.prq.to/announce.php

http://tracker.prq.to/announce

http://tracker.prq.to:80/announce

http://tracker.prq.to/announce.php

Are all same tracker as this one
http://publicbt.com/

Code:
http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce

there's a "metatracker" indexer i've checked out, it keeps a status check of a whole bunch of open trackers (including several that are listed).
http://www.trackon.org/

I went thru a bunch and checked out which ones support udp (since utorrent doesn't auto check for udp support) and came up with this list. the udp versions are listed first and are grouped with their http counterparts, so supporting clients will skip the http version and unsupporting clients (or those silly bunch of you who may have turned off udp) will use them instead.

Code:
udp://denis.stalker.h3q.com/announce
http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce
http://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce

udp://tracker.publicbt.com/announce
http://tracker.publicbt.com/announce

udp://tk.btcomic.net/announce
http://tk.btcomic.net/announce

udp://11.rarbg.com/announce
http://11.rarbg.com/announce

udp://nemesis.1337x.org/announce
http://nemesis.1337x.org/announce

udp://tracker.csze.com/announce
http://tracker.csze.com/announce

http://kbox.ath.cx/announce.php

these are working as of right now. and yes the kbox.ath.cx one does not support udp

These are working well the tracker.publicbt is up and down...

Code:
http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce

http://genesis.1337x.org:1337/announce

http://exodus.1337x.org/announce

Theses ones are not working
Code:
http://tracker.openbittorrent.com/announce

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce

http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce

Hope openbittorrent gets back up again ..

openbittorrent is back online, but only via UDP. Also, publicbt.com can be accessed via UDP as well.
Code:

udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce

udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce

There's also a php SNIP on the openbittorrent site that will update a .torrent file's tracker list. It requires a bit of editing, but will remove most invalid trackers, as well as, supplement the list with trackers of your choice and known UDP trackers. Then you just need to have your browser pre-process .torrent files before adding them to your BT client (using a shell script or batch file depending on your OS).

Wow, thanks thetazzzz

For nearly a week the two largest BitTorrent trackers on the Internet have been mostly offline. With the recent DDoS attacks at BitTorrent sites in mind, some feared that both OpenBitTorrent and PublicBitTorrent were victims of a similar assault. Although both trackers are indeed overloaded, the origin is friendly fire this time.

I think this is a clear indication that: 1 torrents will never go down easily and without a fight and 2. there is a reason for torrent etiquette. i used to hit and run, then id complain about slow speeds, when all along i was one of the reasons for slowing down speeds. Rolling Eyes No More! Cool

http://publicbt.com/
http://openbittorrent.com/

These trackers are now only showing up on those sites as udp ones now so the article on torrentfreak must be true about them being over used..

This list is better than anything google could come up with.
Although, i wouldn't mind an updated list?
These are the ones i use that are open and rarely ever fail:

Code:

udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce

udp://tk.btcomic.net/announce
http://tk.btcomic.net/announce

udp://11.rarbg.com/announce
http://11.rarbg.com/announce

udp://nemesis.1337x.org/announce
http://nemesis.1337x.org/announce

udp://tracker.csze.com/announce
http://tracker.csze.com/announce

http://kbox.ath.cx/announce.php

Publicbt seems to time out a bit, as with 1337.

Can anyone suggest some more? Smile

Hey guys,

Pretty new uploader but was hoping for an up to date list of trackers. Most of the ones on here now keep bringing up errors (must've been closed down). Or if there's a website which shows open trackers, could someone post that?

Cheers

EDIT: I'm a mong, I was looking at the web addresses all along. For mongs like me here they are. Originally posted in the "How to upload section" by Pacino23
