You can add trackers by using "Torrent Editor" a free online editor for adding more trackers. Wink http://torrenteditor.com/

Hey bugzme buddy, think you may want to check the date of the post you replied to. I'm sure when Ozperson used them over 3 years ago they worked fine. Check out some of the more recent posts, I'm sure they will help.

Happy New Year

hey guys
do we need any trackers at all these days??
or do we run only on DHT and PEX??

if i have some unfinished tasks in my bitComet, the ones i am trying to download for about a six months or so and I stopped at 75% is adding some trackers going to help me with finishing them??

why wouldn't you use the trackers that the torrent is using and bitcomet is a cheater client so maybe they kicked you, some do kick cheater clients.some users also kick cheater client users.

and what's with the google spam, looking to get banned.

ech??
relax man Smile
it was no google spam - it was a screen from my bitComet client showing all torrent trackers are down, and the ones that supposed to be working - well I am unable to connect to them.
U haven't even looked at it, have U?
i am not here to spam - just looking for some help with my issue.
And I don't understand what it means that bitComet is a cheater client - if U could explain that to me, I would feel grateful.??

I don't know much about this stuf - if bitComet is not the best choise to use, I will try some other client - but first I want to know why is it a "cheater client"??

bitcomment can be configured to cheat with its seeding so a lot of people block it which would be half your problem, get utorrent

http://www.utorrent.com/

I removed your photo links, next time use photobucket or something similar not google+ as it gives away private information like your name

hey guys.
i have already jumped into uTorrent.
now i am moving 100 of my already downloded torrents into uTorrent and i am going to SEED.
it's just bitComet was my first torrent client and i had no idea i was cheating anyone and it was not my intention at all.

is there in uTorrent an option to find all *.torrent files on my local drive and to add them in one or two bigger shots or should I add these torrents one after another??

second question is how can I make sure I have done everything what was possible to find missing parts of my torrent.
the one I was downloading for over six months and i was not able to completely downlod the whole of it??
two or three links will suffice.

in the screenshot over there is the file i am desperatly looking for.

thank you for your help my friends.
glad to be on the right side of the force now.

Excellent beginning.

Find the directory where Bit Comet has stored all .torrent files. Then tell uTorrent where they are like so:

Image

Check the box next to the arrow and browse to the directory. uTorrent will load all the torrents in that directory.

If for some reason the torrents are not able to locate where the data files are.....you may need to set the 'move completed torrents to ' directory correctly (also in the image above).

If that fails (although it should not) you can set the location manually by right clicking on the torrent, like this:

Image

It may be easier to just bring in torrents you intend to seed and/or download.....bringing in dozens of them may prove a little overwhelming.

Do a force recheck.

That will fix any missing parts.
