I would think it boils down to either Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig or Sean Connery
but I'm wondering how many George Lazenby fans there are. It really isn't up in the air for me.
I know in my heart that Connery owns that role. That's right Trebek!
The poll options are in chronilogical order from OG to young blood. |

Unlike Sean, who has the acting of Captain Kirk (not that i don't watch him with pleasure) Roger Moore is the finest example of stone self control in the english manner. While this is not the james bond of the books (the last bond is the nearest to the literary character), Moore is definitely the greatest of the film bonds, light years ahead of the competition. I mean - there's such controlled harmony in his performance in Live and Let Die - together with the great filming and directing, this is one of the best action films ever. The river scenes... the crocodile scene... just wow |

It's obvious, isn't it. The four pillars of the male heterosexual psyche: we like naked women, stockings, lesbians, and Sean Connery best as James Bond, because that's what being a boy is. |

If Mama Bond was Scottish and Papa Bond was Swiss then where the hell did this English muffin Pierce Brosnan come from? He's out of character with his British demeanor and accent... therefor, there's no way he could be considered the best bond.
Case = made.
Still no George Lazenby fans? |

Brosnan isn't English. He's from Meath in Ireland. |

mine would be daniel craig. he has sort of a rogue personality that brought a more interesting bond to the table .
plus his action scenes were better than the rest. besides, who else knows M's real name?!?! |

Wow. He sounds so English. I guess I assumed that because he's such a puss. I wouldn't take him for an Irishman. I retract my assumtion.
But another things is, the difference between Connery or Craig Bond movies and a Brosnan bond movie is just like the difference between the George Clooney Batman movie and the Christian Bale Batman movies.
The Brosnan Bond films were corny and ridiculous to the exteme, Craig and connery are much more bad ass and serious and I like to take my heroes seriously; which is why I'm also a Bale-Batman kind of guy. |

i choshe connery cuz... well the acshent its classhic bond.
but brosnan is definetly the close second only because of the newer, more high-tech filming than the old days. |

Roger Moore, I grew up watching him
Pierce Brosnan, My missus likes him too, I always seem to get good sex after his movies though for some reason
Daniel Craig, |

Its the age old argument but the two main contenders have always been roger moore and sean connery
I vote moore, he was slicker than the rest but SC is a close second
I do not include daniel craig as he has re-written the bond character and would have preffered it if they had made him an entirely new character name. His style is not comparable to the others |
