What's the best in your opinion, if your favorite isn't mentioned, what format do you prefer to inflict your audio manipulations on?
What is your favorite feature of said program, what would you change, and if you "had" to change DAWs to another platform, what would you change to?
Are you a mac or PC user? Why? Do you find one platform works better than another?

I've never seen so many isohunt citizens scratching they're head over something so common place in my world before.
Pro-Tools is the industry standard for audio editing and album mixdown. It is a program that allows you to record music and sound into your computer with the help of a few really cool external audio interfaces.
Madonna, Nine Inch Nails, and Goerge Lucas are just a few of many people/productions that have used this software (logic too)
If you like to make or record music, you should research any of these platforms to see what you've been missing. |

wow I agree. Pro-tools is definately something any audiophile should be scratching their heads over. I personally just started learning it and I'm already in love with it for audio engineering. I used to use Sony Acid Pro 6, compared to PT, Acid is like playing nes, and PT playing Playstation. Acid is slow uncooperative and extremely brainwracking, where PT is smooth and looks great and can be too easy to use, but then can be just as hard as acid at times.
In other words, Pro-tools is the best... Especially the HD version, hahaha!!!
