Your saying that on the fact that global warming is an happening thing and man is responsible for it, while I agree it may (emphisis on may) be hotter, I don't think man has anything what so ever to do with it

agreed. the world has been through many changes. we had an ice age, was that due to man? and the world is still here! the world is, has and will always change. it may be possible to have some all be it small impact on it. i would not be surprised if some point in the future it is proved a load of rubbish and was just made up to justify the money scientists are funded for research. scientists and researchers get things wrong all the time. the world was once flat. most recent that comes to mind is autism linked to mmr jab. it has been admitted there is no link and research was floored yet it is still believed. hear something enough, especially by media and the world will believe it and fear it regardless if it is unsubstantiated or even proven to be wrong. anyways its always freezing here so where is global warming Laughing

climate change is a natural cycle of this planet.
that doesnt mean global warming doesnt exist, as it does exist.
there is ample scientific evidence to indicate that the extent of global warming, this time around is above and beyond historic norms.
there is still no conclusive evidence that human activities have caused the accelerated global warming, but its is very likely true.
global warming is not the problem, its a symptom, the problem for us, is climate succession [change], compounded with the social demand to wait until there is a problem and then act rather than prepare for a prediction of the event.

I will tell you why climate change is the biggest con in history -

1. It was called global warming until it the heatwave broke so the changed it to climate change

2. If was such a huge problem and going cause such death and destruction they would stop lighting cities up at night time, stop car racing, stop night time sports, all those things that use more energy and emit more carbon emissions in one night than I'll ever use in 15 lifetimes.

3. El nino and his mate Elmino or whaterver it is are just made up words with a Latin twist to make it sound more cleverer for its f%$ing hot and windy.

4. The 1970's was thought to be global cooling

5. The Ice age melting was global warming and we did alright out of that

6. There is no undisputed evidence to found anywhere, for every chart showing warming there is one showing cooling and one showing nothing.

7. If the cold war was still on there would be no climate change, we would have that to kill us instead.

8. If was such a problem man would stop making iphone apps for 5 minutes and actually invent something to fix it.

Global warming has become the latest cow for government to milk.
That it is something natural is irrelevant to the state. The state see's only opportunity to institute new methods to tax people to obtain revenue.
Carbon Tax is a prime example of how the governments take advantage.

I could'nt agree with you more johnno and the statement by trollster about the biggest con in history.

The proof that there was previous global warmings, is that they are finding dinosaur bones and fossilized plants where the ice sheet is now melting.

I also agree that polution is a big problem for the air we breathe and the water we drink, but it's not only humans creating the problem, Mother Nature has its word to say in that also, like volcanoes and forest fires. I know that it doesn't happen every day, but when they do they're whoppers and affect the air much more than cars do. As for water polution, that's corporate greed to save money and that has to change.

Overpopulation is the big problem we face. We have 22 million people here in Australia and I now have to drive around for two minutes to find a car park near the beach. Never had that problem 10 years ago when we were well under the 20 million mark. Confused

Next I'll have to stand in a line to get my Big Mac, oh wait, that's happening too. Damn overpopulation Damn you to hell. Can't wait for climate change to kill of the weak (damn those with disability stickers on their cars) and let me have my close parking and fast food back!!

Time to invest in solar panels! Oh wait, that was killing people by the bucket load last year. Climate change has already started killing Aussies. Damn you climate change, damn you to hell!!

Power prices have gone through the roof and because of climate change and I am supposed to sit at home with my 2.5HP air conditioner switched off to help fight climate change. How can I fight climate change when it's so damn hot there is a river of sweat running down my bum crack?

I cannot fight climate change feeling so uncomfortable and the kids these days are so mean they will point at my wet groin area and make fun of me. Damn you climate change, damn you to hell!!

Now the greenies are telling me I am part of the problem because we have six motorbikes and a car and a Ute parked in our double garage and drive way. How can this be?? They will be telling me to turn off my beer fridge when it is empty next! Oh wait, they are telling me this already. Damn you climate change, damn you to hell!!

The last straw was when it was suggested we turn off our computers and other appliances when we go to bed at night. What's that all about?? If my computer is off how can I get up in the middle of the night and do a humongous dump, take a photo of it while it is still steaming and upload it to facebook for my FB friends go give me the lol's and likes I need daily to survive? Damn you climate change, damn you to hell!!
