Such a wonderful, obscure little herb. Tell me about your experiences and I'll post mine (as soon as i know i'm not the party of 1 here...)

[Drug use has normally been sent to debate section where minors usually refrain from browsing. Salvia maybe legal in your country but it is banned in others the same as alcohol is in Muslim countries. So based on that I have moved the Stupid Drunks one also to debates. ]

First time I did it, I was gone. I nearly wigged.

I was at a friends house about 9 months or so ago kicking it playing Wii and watching TV. I took 3 tokes out of his bong and after the second one I was feeling the tingling sensation crawling around my body and about the time the third one hit me, I was actually IN the TV.
I was in the big ass white room with seemingly no walls or ways out.
Subconsciously I knew it was just the TV, but the two people in the commercial were talking and responding to whatever I, apparently, was saying. But I KNEW it was just the TV. But they were talking to ME. Anything I said back to them they responded to.
Needless to say, somehow, myself being inside the TV didn't make me feel too at ease and I was trying to find a damn way out of this room I was in. Keep in mind I actually never left the couch although I was running around in this endless white room.
Finally my friend grabs my shoulder and snapped me back to reality with big wide eyes saying 'man you were gone.' I responded 'yea, no shit. Whooaa.'

I can say this though: It is NOT a party drug. You definitely do not need an entire room full of people off in their own little worlds, literally.

Overall, it was an interesting experience and I've done it several times since, that was just the craziest one. Though when I do do it, I often hear all the little voices in my head speaking to me. All of them.

I still prefer shrooms or acid over salvia though, nothing against it.

It didn't do much but give me a headache when we smoked it. One of my friends kind of wigged a little but not enough to warrant the way we felt after we smoked it.

I would recommend putting your money towards some hash oil or some sort of pollen box. gotta get that keefe!

I think a drug forum would be a great idea....

I'll agree with you there, the people with negative praise are usually the ones that did it in a room full of people, which will make you feel entirely uneasy...

Alrighty.. my salvia experiences, or at least the most vivid ones:

The first time i remember very little of, because i had a friend of mine screaming 'I DARE YOU TO SMOKE ANOTHER BOWL, I f**kin DARE YOU!".
I'm a sucker for peer-pressure i guess Wink

They tell me i was on the couch yelling " THE THINGS OUT OF THE TV TASTE BAD!" untill they stopped laughing at me enough to pop me out of it. i do remember that i went outside and was talking to a buddy of mine (trying to ignore the shadow-people).. anyways, my buddy was wearing a bright green shirt and in conversation i pointed to his shirt and then pointed to my car--- the green following my finger and turning my white car green.

The best experience so far was when i took a single hit, fell back on the grass laughing my ever-loving balls off when i became a giant green crab on giant blue grass..shortly after, reality as i knew it packaged itself up over and over into oscar meyer wiener sausage packages, sitting on astroturf. Giant pixelated figures stood over me (like from katamari damancy) speaking what i presume to be japanese.
My friends said i just did the crab walk on the grass laughing my fool head off.

yeah, and its not a bud strain... I can buy this legally in the U.S., which most certianly does not make it a bud strain.
It doesnt even taste like cannibis.. or have the same effect.
its a very strong hallucinogen that lasts about 15 minutes.
I've never been a crab because i smoked some pot!

You were probably confusing salvia with sativa(pot).

Weed doesn't look like black dust, come in a little vial, or make you hallucinate. You also can't buy it at your local head shop legally.

From what I have seen of this "drug" its not something that most people want to do more than once. So I figure I will miss the first one. Youtube is full of videos about it. I have tried quite a lot of different drugs in my time, but there are some (like this one), that just don't look like fun to me. Wink

it gets prettier as it matures, the ends turn a bit purple (or at least they do in texas) .. i've got some in the back yard...

Omega: I've never had a bad trip, probably because i was never scared of it and thought of it positively-- i also never used it stupidly i.e. in a social setting. like with everything, drugs effect everyone differently. (considering i've never had a bad trip..on anything..) I have heard stories of highschool kids jumping off thier roofs or smashing through glass doors and killing themselves, but again, the government says acid will make you kill your father and rape your mother Wink

What i'm trying to say is, just try the shit- it only lasts 15 minutes so even if its not so pleasant it will be over very soon.

Out of all the hallucinogens i have tried. Salvia has given me the most profound spiritual experiences that I could ask for. People make the mistake of treating this like a party drug. When you use it like that, bad trips will happen. You have to look at salvia as a spiritual/intellectual pursuit. Not just something to get high on. I have seen a lot of people misuse this drug and they got their asses kicked.

I have been using this for a couple years now. And my suggestions to people are: Do it by your self, or with two or three people. Whatever you comfortable with. Social situations with large groups of people dont go well with this shit. Any bad feelings like anxiety or panic you feel before smoking this will carry into your trip. Trust me its not fun. If you have the time, doing mental exercises like meditation or focusing your intentions right before smoking always seems to help me have an amazing trip. Salvia should not be a terrifying experience. Although from what I hear for most people it is.

Anyways have you guys ever tried combinations? Mushrooms + LSD + Salvia is definitely something everyone should experience at least once in their life time.

give me a specific salvia trip..thats what i posted the thread for!

the only thing ive combined with salvia is bud (for the issue of being constantly poor) and it felt like the best shit i had ever smoked-- no trip, but i was way more in my own head... which is a place i love to be.
