- For BitTorrent: Paste in a 40 characters info_hash, to search for that particular torrent and get all trackers for it

The popular eDonkey2000 hash links site, ShareReactor, has been
shutdown and its servers seized
, for being "a link platform for filesharing offerings". The related search engine
Jigle
also voluntarily shutdown. The far reaching implication is whether all hash links, (BitTorrent .torrent hashes, Kazaa's sig2dat, etc.) pointing to a chunk of copyrighted data, illegal? Should Google be sued for linking to illegal content, if hash and text links are links just the same? |
