We have all had this discussion down the pub on a friday night, am I wrong? well anyway i did over the weekend and most of my friends gave different answers so lets clear this up right here right now.
For me its the white album....although Relvolver is a very close second.
I know the UK/USA versions differ, esp before help! so the poll only includes anything they released after help!. just click 'other' then specify if one of the early ones is your favourite

I have to agree with you 100%
White album is epic with revolver coming very very close.

Revolver is my personal favorite, but I think Sgt. Pepper's was the most influential. I think it's just one of those albums that changed everything. The White Album is great, but I think it may have been a little overly ambitious. While the songs are excellent, there's no real congruity. I love the really experimental noise stuff ("number 9, number 9, number 9") but Sgt. Pepper's was a superior album as a whole. |

Yeah, Sgt Pepper's was rather special. They were all before my time... but Sgt. Pepper's really seemed to capture everything in an iconic way... the way I imagine it.
I guess I'm just a little burnt on it... because it was so influential |

Yea I agree that Sgt.Pepper was more influential,,,Easy star all stars even done a tribute to the album lol, out of all the beatles albums they could have covered.... slightly off topic here but has anyone heard it? i wasnt a fan of that or radiodread (ok computer) but dub side of the moon was great.
White Album,
I think it is a bit mashed up,, for me 'glass onion' and 'ob la di' ruined the flow a bit but the rest runs well. Its the ultimate beatles album that signifies everything thet were about i.e. changing styles. thats why the mccartney/lennon dynamic worked so well, their difference in song writting styles. this album for me has it all, even a good ringo song(dont pass me by) which is a rarety for beatles albums.
Julia atm is my favourite song. i recently read a book John lennons sister wrote about their childhood, julia baird. Although this song is most likely about his mum, also julia, who died when john was 17. im into the beatles way too much, i know lol |

I have to go with Sgt. Pepper, influential or not, it had some truly great music. I always thought it was their best effort. |

I'd take ABBEY ROAD anytime because then their music production was more updated, and their song writing was excellent and tight in conjunction with their music. |
