There is a fairly simple way to alleviate this problem with the utorrent client

The only reason I shy away from Isohunt is because they don't allow a way for you to comment directly on that torrent like Demonoid, Piratebay and many other sites do.

Until you can comment directly on a torrent (which fakes are no problem on either of those sites because you know right away if it is or isn't), Isohunt is a bit of a liability to use. You just don't know if you are going to get tricked.

Come on guys, you have more than enough knowledge to set something like this up, and it obviously works.

When I come to Isohunt, I don't go to the forums to see if a torrent is good. Why force people to go out of their way? Just make it more friendly Smile

please go here http://phoenixlabs.org/ to download peerguardian which blocks bad IP's from spying corps, use this to analyze

the torrent when you hit start to download. you can look up the companies yourself and investigate to see if the file is a

fake put there by the spy.

I must admit.

I utilize Isohunt to learn about certain things and bs with the members.

If I do not get a direct link in a thread for a torrent here I usually go to a place like TorrentSpy where I see that green bar and read torrent feedback and even then I dont always trust the varied replies. I usually scan the top green/yellow even sometimes red torrents and decide which one seems the best.

I was going to posit this wildly unique suggestion (do green bar & feedback column in the torrent) but I see it has done been brung up in this thread.

Why wasnt this suggestion addressed? Is green bar & direct feedback bad? I would certanly know who to trust around here.

The Torrent Devil Wears Prada 2006 TS XviD-CaMFX [www piratelounge net] has been "Stuck" at 94.7% for two days for me. it says it has just around 4000 seeders, and yet it will not connect to any of them for me. Also, all of my peers are also stuck at this exact precentage. Could this be a fake torrent?

This is stuck at 91.8% for me... has been for a couple of days now. It went crazy fast and then just hit a wall. Supposedly there are 2091 seeders but I can't connect to any though my NAT is fine according to Azureus.

I don't know what this means but it sounds like it fits the profile of rubbish torrent.

ok..i dont know where to put this..but i believe it belongs in here. today i've tried to download my super exgirlfriend movie, and the torrent stopped at 93%...and zero health..lotsa peers, and no seeds

You need to make it so we can comment on torrents, that way people we know from the start if the torrent is even worth downloading or not.
