PLEASE HELP!! error

WHenever i try to install a program and run the installation thing it says "NSIS Error: error launching installer" or something like that.....Why is it doing this? I shut down my spyware stuff so i know thats not it...Please help!!!!!

It might help if you clear the contents of your Windows TEMP folder ... in WinXP that would usually be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Local Settings\Temp

(On WinXP, go to Start > Run and type %temp% then click OK to open the Temp folder, then use Edit > Select All, then File > Delete).

and unistall all previous versions of wutever ure tryin to install in the first place if need be,,,hope it helps

i deleted all the things in the Temp folder but i still cant download any programs Mad
