my favorite for a long time was the quake series, quake 2 on a 56k modem was the hook, the line , and the sinker for me. My online gaming addiction has festered ever since.
I watched Conan Obrien last night and he had Robin Williams on the show, but i was surprised to hear him tell conan how he is hooked on online shooters!, pretty cool!
My favorite online shooter ever though is metal of honor allied assault!
love that game!
Lately though i have been playing alot of castle wolfenstein-enemy territory, mostly cause it's free and i do like the objective maps! |

I'm one of them too.
Deus Ex ranks up there on my all-timers, along with HL2.
Pretty much any FPS game can be extremely fun and challenging when you aren't a puss and play it on the hardest settings.
I couldn't tell you how many times I've been slaughtered in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and CoD4 but I still love them. I love the more tactical approach to FPS games too. |

Me and my kids still play golden eye constantly. Its great for easy multiplayer fun. One of the few games where no matter the age gaps between us its a fairly even playing feild. |

I would have to say Unreal Tournament 2K4 is my fav. with multiple play modes and sniper servers on death match and just plain fast gameplay, it's always been my fav. |

I remember in 6th grade, I played Golden Eye all night, the next day the motion sickness got me and I threw up all over my teachers desk, it was crazy!
Golden eye was definitely my fave... until Perfect Dark came out, with that cool expansion pack, it was Golden Eye to the 10th power!
But right now I waste precious time on Cross Fire, that game rocks!

Golden eye rocked, I still play it from time to time, morden fps may look pretty, but they are boring and over in 10 minutes |
