instrumental music

im new to this, what my potential new bandmates call, post rock and need to hear some bands so i can go to the first practise armed with some inspiration. i seen ''explosions in the sky'' quite randomly live a few weeks ago, was completely blown away and decided to get in contact with some locals to start something similar. so anyway, one delay pedal purchase later and here i am. any suggestions?

Neurosis (post-metal/doom metal, some vocals)

**post-metal is similar to post-rock but is markedly heavier and often includes metal styled vocals. If you do like the post-metal stuff, you should check out some doom/sludge bands.

I would have made this instrumental but the words got in the way .................... only instrumental piece is have is the ultra depressing Carnage Visors by the Cure, oh and some early New Order stuff
