No such nick/channel

I looked through the search area, but cant find this answer. Some times when I click on a link from a search engine, Mirc will open. The first box will pop up and finally tell me that I am connected (I am assuming this is the server box). After that another box (assuming channel) will open. When I hit ctr V to paste into the channel box and ht enter, it shows up in the channel box, but in the server box I get "No such nick/channel". I am not sure why this happens, since it does not do it on every server. Any ideas?

yeah i get the same thing but i get it for every file i try to get

Its basically when the fserve your trying to contact either isn't there or perhaps you got the trigger wrong!

The IRC search engines can at times be out of date, so may appear online but by the time u get there - vanished!
