Whether or not you like the man, or his past decisions, there is no reason for you to personally attack him on the forums.. Sure he has made plenty of mistakes in the past, but I'd say there are PLENTY of leaders far worse than Bush out there... Besides, to be eleceted twice, I'd say the American people must not have seen anything wrong with him... Once one person complains, people jump on the bandwagon and complain too. Anyways... thats getting off topic.

To me, like it has been stated, it seems IsoHunt has done nothing wrong. To own a database that anyone can edit, and to expect NOTHING to go wrong is ridiculous... Thats like saying all of Wikipedia's information is cited and accurate...

So.. whats stopping a website like Isohunt from being completely anonymous and under the radar?

i say f**k every corporation out there that tries to dominate the market with heavy regulations while they benefit from government deregulations. greedy f**kin bastards.

if it werent for corporations, there'd be no poverty. if you dont believe me, look at the poverty charts prior to WW2, back when free trade was actually free.

and theyre gonna bitch about losing a few dollars to us?

if im not getting it free online, im stealing it from Wal Mart

f**k YOU!

i hope sites like this overcome such bullshit. honestly, it amazes me people use Itunes to purchase music when torrents are way f**kin cooler, aside from being free. sites like this are an anarchist dream, we should all step in and help as a thank you for all the shit we get here.

anything you want me to do, not involving a circle jerk or reach around, holla.

These big companies are just sore cuz we're taking a little chunk of their massive empire, they arent willing to share so screw em n keep the torrent from becoming a trickle.

A short time ago.. in an open website the dark side tried to take over... yada yada yada...

lol this reminds me of 'Star wars gangsta rap 2' on youtube. Here's what our reply should be from that video:

"It's the V to the A to the D-E-R (Vader!)
Reconstructin' the Death Star!
With my slick suede suit that's black like tar,
f**kin you up no matter who you are!"

Fight the powa!! ISOHUNT ALL THE WAY Cool

In a few years it won't matter about these silly little lawsuits anyway. If the government gets their way, they'll roll out Internet 2 which gets to be controlled by corporations, not users and sysadmins. ABC, NBC, CNN, etc all control what you have access to on their brand new, faster, new and improved internet, for a (bigger) fee of course.

Maybe we'll have to pay 10 cents for each email we send or forum post we create. We let them do it to us with cell phones, and its proven that it costs next to nothing for the companies to send a text message (look it up!).

Anyway, I hope that doesn't happen. The internet is the last great form of open communication we have! Twisted Evil

I think that if every one of us using this site gave $1.00 a week we could help fund this fight but how do we do this without getting our names on a list to be investigated?

Let us all know and I think we may be on to something. I use hulu to watch programs a lot but they do not have all the episodes. Who wants to see episode 7-9 of a series you have never watched before so I come to Isohunt to get the ones leading up to the one Hulu has. It is very frustating that the TV channels like CBS, NBC, SciFi, etc do not carry all of their episodes on their sites. Some of them do not let you view the ones they do have in full screen mode either. Do they wonder why we want to download them? They need to step up to the needs of their viewers. I guess I could just tape the show but who are they going to sue then?

My other comment is that after watching I delete what I downloaded - who has that kind of hard drive space? I have also purchased entire seasons on shows that I have downloaded and watched because I knew I would like to watch them again. So the people who are suing you should realize that if it weren't for you guys we would not be watching some of their shows and not purchasing the DVD's from the store.

This has also been the case with music that I have downloaded if I like it I have bought it.

Again though what if we all donated $1.00 a week toward this lawsuit - it's time to ante up people.

i think michael moore said it best:

"if a friend of yours gives you a dvd of my movie to watch, is he doing anything wrong?"

I would hate to see this site die, i will try to do everything i can to help keep it going, cuz there is nothing wrong with wat u guys r doing, i mean i just download a game for a day or two and then delete it, its like renting a game from a place to test it out and then go buy it. Seriously companies like the MPAA seem to have nothing better to do but pick on the less fortunate Mad .

So as soon as i can get the money and a paypal account i will help u guys out.

What is the difference with this type of looking at movies and renting or borrowing the movie from the library? Library is free and I am sure that they don't pay a royalty to the stars. Just a thought.

I use torrent networks to distribute software that I have written as I think that it's an excellent disribution medium. The copywrite police don't seem to understand the torrent networks aren't inherintly evil

why not ask members good ways to generate money?

sure we all donate, but its not enough.

i know you can double your cash with a little innovation and
a wee bit of psychology in human behavior !

why not a comp with entry fee - people love to compete.

(winner gets announced on homepage or something)

add comp scores to profiles !

make it fun and the cash will flow !!!!!!!
