hey ... i cant seem to be able to download any torrents lately ... it says its getting interrupted... no explanations given... pls help!!! thnx Smile

Sounds like your using Chrome browser? If you are, then its a common problem at the moment. Best bet is to change your browser to something like firefox. If your not using chrome, then ignore my ramblings Very Happy

Lot's of people have trouble with Chrome for downloading it's worth while like bazzer101 said changing to another browser if you download alot.

Most people here use Firefox.

Hi everybody,

Thought I would add my couple of cents worth.

Just did a quick search.
Found http://www.utorrent.com/help/guides/beginners-guide

Also, something I discovered a while ago -by accident - was that there was the slow way (which I had been doing):

*Right clicking somewhere on the line of the title you have downloaded or are downloading >
*Bandwidth Allocation >
*Set Download Limit >
*Select speed

and then there is a faster way of changing up limit / down limits.

Right clicking in the Up Limit or Down Limit columns on the row/s of title/s you want to change brings up a drop down list of speeds, ie:

24
40
45
50, etc
and then selecting one.

Am guessing, like with other Windows Logo Key combinations, that if you go Logo key + B then D this will bring up the same limit drop down menu.

Could someone check that one out please?

Have not managed to work out how to assign a key on my old IBM ThinkPad to perform as the Windows Logo Key yet - any suggestions?

Note: Been up / downloading for about a couple of years now - been a big learning curve.

Been using utorrent for years and never seen it before until today, when I click it shows another screen saying "downloading app".. There is no app name, when I hover over symbol it has no text. Absolutely no idea what it is...

Anyone know?

some downloads include apps with them and from what i understand that's how you download them.

i would just right click on the column header and untick it and tick some useful ones.

also to post pics here you want the link wrapped in the img stuff like so [img]link[/img]
