Ok, so the DDoS is over. But site was still slow, because the database can't handle the increasing load. So I've spent my free time in the last few days moving and fixing things, and the database intensive parts (searching) should be sufficiently fast now. FYI, the site now runs under 2 servers (while it was more like 1.5 before).
