I don't want to start a flame fest or a US bash, but the comment was made in a recent post that the US President is seen as the world leader.

Is he? If not him, then whom?

If Aliens landed and commanded "Take me to your leader", would you be amazed that they spoke English? Seriously though, whom would you direct them to?

Is there a "World Leader"?

I'd direct them to my probation officer. He seems to think that he controls the world, lol.

Also, I hope to GOD that the US President is not the world leader! We're all doomed if that be the case, whether it be Bush, or Obama, or whoever is after him. We Americans, the majority anyway, can only rarely actually like our President, so how would anyone else in the world put up him as "The Leader"?

I can,t comment. I can't be said any better than that. When I saw this topic I had the perfect comment. then as I read thourgh the comments I seen it had already been made.

I dont think anybody will ever be the world leader, humans cant get along good enough to call any body a world leader. I like the comment trollster made about alians laughing at us for treating coutries like they are diffrent worlds. I would assume alians would be way more advanced and speak many diffrent languages though.

No one person does or in the near future will rule the world. That would be insanity in the purest form. And it would be the people beneath that person that drives him insane enough to ever take complete control. Hitler!!!! They would bring their own peril upon themselves for the lust to use this persons own strength for their desires. The world is insane and the human race is unfortunately a victim to themselves. Me included.

We want a world leader!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bigger the better. Everything has to grow according to human logic. Even Bigger and Even Better this year ((((((((50% off))))))))

America is portrayed as the world leader and sure enough they have the military to prove they are. It is in all manners, though it cannot really do much more than show boat about it. 1 illegal war will probably be the only one they will get away with. The US President is no more the leader than Bill Gates is the leader of Microsoft.

The thing i have a problem with is that it really does seem like nothing more than business to the people that really do make decisions for the world. And what rules business? PR-OF-IT

I agree with trollster that aliens would really just laugh and have pity. If they were ANYTHING like us, they would then enslave and use us to make themselves better/worse off. I cant remember which it is! There must be good and evil in everything, this world we live on caters for the ones that use all means without question.

NO ONE WILL HELP ME, and i have asked sooooooooooooooooooooo many times that i think it would be more fun to watch instead of ask. Its like asking the law to investigate dog fouling.

Im sure one day, just because people really do want life to be that bit easier; one person will rule the world, and that day will be when people are that stupid they cant even think for themselves never mind what that person would do with the world. Life will never be easy. And the more you diminish responsibility the more likely you are going to f**k that person and the rest of the people around them. I know what ruling the world is AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH POWER or MONEY.
