New stf on Forums, call for moderators

Update 1 (8/10/2007, these ranks have been changed and effective I believe for at least a year now but here's the belayed update for the now not so new ranks):

Feel free to suggest more "interesting" ranks to add to the list.

Update 2: I've added several smileys, click "View more Emoticons" on the posting page to see them (the little shrunk down ones at the end), enjoy Cool

Also, I'm looking for moderator(s) to help answer questions and keep things in order in the forums. This comes at a time when I'm writing finals, and I won't have as much time checking on posts. The only requirements are dedication and knowledge of things here (IRC, Bit Torrent). If you are interested, reply below or PM me Wink

Ill be honest with ya mate - I know exactly zero about irc (god knows I wish I could get the darn thing to work and download!)

I have limited BT knowledge (I know what I know through trial and error of existing clients and have no knowledge of programming and stuff.)

I do however have a load of torrents for adding to releases and stuff - unfortunately to post a release you require moderater status.

So if you want a dedicated release type mod then let me know.

There's already some misplaced torrents in the releases, i'll give u mod access to torrents as soon as i code the moderator features (move torrents aroudn releases, edit their descriptions, delete them). That'll have to wait after my finals in 2 weeks however Sad

Nope, anyone can post releases. There's a "Post new release" link at top left of all release pages. I've just added a link to the Releases menu at top as well Wink

I spend most of the day in work going through isohunt and the like (suppose I should do some real work sometime)

Ill get posting up some releases then (I guess its the old blockbuster employee in me)

How I kick myself that I quit at Blockbuster....all those movies that needed...erm...testing cos they were faulty! Head Bang

Then again people arnt gona deport them selves

Oh I tried to add on my own release and again i got a message stating mods only?

u caught the longest running BUG in isoHunt history Shocked

that's what i get for mixing identities in hacking phpBB's code... i could post releases so i assumed it works fine. forgot i have moderator access just like isoHunt Bot Embarassed

no wonder no one posted a single release after all this time... i guess the error was confusing so no one reported it

fixed now. Post some releases, you earned it Wink

I'd say I'd sign up for the mod thing, too, but I'm in the same boat...used BT for downloading *cough* things (my OS isn't illegal, I swear!) and anime, been off and on of IRC for about a year, just started learning about coding phpBB2 a few months ago in an effort to try'n get more money by making templates, then never finished one...ah well.

phpbb??? wtf? I cant even programe a video (Im lying) but I am no programmer - I struggle with Irc - never ever seem to be able to downloading.
