cant download

Will try to give as much info as I can.

I use Google Chrome browser, have been using it for about 2 years. When I click on "download torrent" normally a little box opens in the lower left as with any download. I then click on that and it opens the dialog box in my utorrent which allows me to start the download. It then goes on the list of what's downloading, but shows only zeros for seeds and leechers. I know there are seeds because they are showing in the list on the site. I have tried many different downloads with strong seeds and still only showing zeros.

I tried the link that you provided but the same thing still happened.

I have done port forwarding, checked firewalls, etc. but don't think that's an issue as all other sites work fine. I also tried the site where you check if you have a "cap" on your downloading and that is not the case. I have been with my ISP for 9 years now.

Give Firefox a try, because chrome has lots of issues with this site lately.

Post us a screenshot of utorrent download screen if possible.

And by strong seeds, there are many fakes with strong seeds too. Can you post here one's "hash"/summary link.

Good news, with Firefox I am able to download files again! Very happy about that, thank you! The bad news is that I still cannot access the series I have been trying to download this week, which I was able to download only last week. I tried to do a screen shot and got this:

Same thing happened to me yesterday, but last night i was able to download something, it was slow and sluggish tho, looked like it was being poisioned so i quit it half way through.
The only thing that happened yesterday was i quit mcafee and went with AVG, thats when the problem started Confused

I used to be a big fan of AVG.... not any more,
it's avast free now which I consider to be better than a full version of AVG
also ESET is highly recommended here in the forums.

The way you feel about AVG is the way i feel about Avast lol
But ESET i do like the look of, going to try before i buy!
i don't think the swap from mcafee to avg is what messed with my downloads, but it was odd that it started to happen when i took mcafee off!
Maybe i was more protected with mcafee than i realised???

oh really, I'm interested to know what problems did you have with avast ?

i'm not going to knock how it is now because i have no idea kilo, except my sons lappy went down with Avast protecting it recently!
I always used Avast once upon a time ago, until i found my self wiping and reformatting more than i felt i should have been, so i got fedup with it thats all lol

oh well, just a tip though mate, I changed to avast for exactly the same reason but with AVG so I suppose what that is saying to both of us is that
we should both give ESET a go. Rolling Eyes

While I am now able to download some torrents with the use of Firefox, I am still getting shut out of some others.

This is one I am trying to download, I got the first episode through just fine, but episodes 2 and 3 just show up as no seeders, no leeches. Sorry I am unable to provide a screen shot of my utorrent, I can take a shot but have no idea how to place it in this message. So I have copied it.

Is there no way I can be helped without a screen shot? I can't imagine what can be seen from it that would be useful. But I am not technical in that respect.

Don't post any screenshots now..no need!

Your problem seems unique (generally it was chrome's problem!)..
Do the basics..

Well delete all the cookies, delete temporary files and stuffs.. Link
Clean everything using malwarebytes.. Link & CCleaner

In the meantime, the torrent you're downloading or most of them torrents,
download 'em from the source (those you can't download from here!) and tell me if you get the same problem!

I will perform the actions you recommend and let you know.

I have tried going to the sources, such as the pirate bay, and the problem does not happen there as long as I don't use Chrome. I still get one or two files there that give me a problem if I do use Chrome, but other than that, no issues.

Okay, I have cleared cookies etc. and run cleaning programs. Everything looked good and no malicious software was detected.

I am still having problems with some files, I tried to download this one today, for example, from isoHunt and still getting zeros.
