James Corbett exhibits some of his work at The Tree Frog Gallery which is just up the road from me. I love his work so thought I would share 
The 46-year-old Australian artist creates these sculptures using parts salvaged from old cars. One of the pieces, a ram of spark plugs, sold for a whopping $23,000.
His sculptures are made of gears, spark plugs, exhaust, radiator, anything that the artist can achieve. After spending weeks dedicated to locating suitable pieces, James meticulously cleans every part and welds them together.
Sadly I don't think I will ever be able to afford one of his sculptures though.

that's well cool, I once saw a full size model of predator made from
car parts on display at a maket stall,
also a full size model of the skeletal version of terminator lol. |

Amazing sculptures. Whats nice is that we can recognize the parts he uses.
Having the right house decor would even be nicer to display. |

The animal ones kinda freak me out a bit, especially the kangaroos! 
Really nice though. Love the ones of the old racing cars especially. |
