how can i make a torrent with a music file and post it on here for a friend to get and dl with his client? or can i just make the torrent and send him the torrent?

if u plan on privately sharing the music you could simply make the torrent in your client then send him the .torrent file Smile

however if u wish to share it with the rest of the world, u have to Post New Release (follow the FAQ's guide)

Limwire is handy for this purpose. They offer a Direct Connection option ( see one of the three tabs underneath the search section on the left). Just give your mate the IP & Port address and the can connect to u through using limewire too, and see the files available in ur pre-specified sharing folders
