- You can use boolean operators (-, |, OR), wildcards (*, ?), and phrase search (") in your query
- For BitTorrent: Paste in a 40 characters info_hash, to search for that particular torrent and get all trackers for it

| I think you can only change the title and description, maybe add your own comment to the torrent if necessary ? |
Will add another comment robmead (whoops, almost missed out the ‘b’ in your name).
Had been planning on putting a thanks in the summary page to Jaybob and Team for their site’s help. Another comment looks like it is in order.
I think that typing what I put has been misleading to people - had them thinking I was imitating Jaybob.
Was not expecting red minuses when I checked on the comments this morning – that was a bit of a shock.

Also I thought I'd give you a hand to get it off to a good start!

Wow. Over 25 Gb uploaded – A big thank you to you djdezzie. Do you have unlimited or something?

| Yep my ruTorrent is showing ninety seeds and almost two hundred peers ...... well done ! |
Yes very happy with the result. Maybe I should have uploaded the 1Gb sized file instead.
How long does one keep uploading the original file? – or should I just set it to a low speed seeing as I am the originator of the upload?
No wonder people get into ranting and raving in discussion groups.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telesync
A telesync it is not. May look like a telesync because of the size, or quality. I could add in my comment what my original objective was. – The comments are going to be a put-off to some people otherwise.
Should I upload the other file (the 1Gb) as well, or instead of maybe? What would you guys do in this situation?
I must say it has been interesting seeing the upload in action. I have a better idea how it all works now.
Thought I was going to have to use quarter of my broadband plan on uploading to 15 people.
Been a big learning curve.
Thanks guys. |

25gb uploaded is only what you have uploaded, you must have a fairly good
upload speed lol, 25gb would mean that your share ratio must be somewhere
around 32.
if you set your upload speed slower you might get people deciding not to
download, unfortunately some people are too impatient,
when upoading you should always set your upload speed to "0"
that means maximum upload speed,
seed boxes work separately from your torrent but they still upload to the
peers on your torrent who are downloading from you which helps a lot
in creating seeds faster,
as long as there are a good number of seeds..... 50 or so you can stop
your torrent & not worry about it dying, it should keep itself going,
I like to check on my torrents for a while so I keep them in utorrent for a
week or so, so that I can create more seeds if I want to by uploading
more, once I'm certain it will keep going I then delete it from utorrent
or keep it in utorrent & have another look now & then just to make sure it's still going,
at some point you will have to delete your torrent though cos yo have to
move on & create your next torrent,
some people don't seed very much & that's when torrents die
which is selfish & others don't get to complete their download
depriving other people, sad really but it happens,
hope this helps. |

That was djdezzie who uploaded that amount.
I have uploaded just over 2Gb. Have just reduced it to 10 kbps and will keep an eye on it.
Have another title in mind - so keep an eye out for it. |

oh lol, yep that figures....
if there's plenty of peers to upload to I would keep your upload speed at
maximum as it helps to make your torrent grow,
I've got a torrent running now with 527 seeds & 784 peers so I don't
need to seed it but I've got nothing else to do atm. |
