Do you play as your own gender or your opposite?

So when you play a game that let's you chose your gender which do you play as? Your real life gender? Your opposite gender? Post here and let me know. Me? My own. I always prefer to stick to my own self when customizing my character.

i start with my own gender, but after completing the game, i'll do it again with the other gender. esprcially if she has different weapons or skills.

i play as myself...... especially if i can create it exactly like me Smile

i.e on my ps home i have a me lookalike........ but just for fun i made a girl that looks like my girlfriend and its weird how many dude's wanna talk to ya lol

Always my own gender, and yeah I try to make it look like me, or actually like the me I used to be before becoming a standard boring mummy.

The only time I have chosen to be male on the games with a choice is Fable2, I took the sex-change potion... That was freaky Shocked

yeah i play as my own gender too and like bekah and aj i try to make it look like me even down to the tattoos if possible.

it depends on the game..and if i can create my user or if i have to pick. but preferably my own gender.

I never take anyone's word that they are a woman in real life on those mmos. Or anywhere else on the internet for that matter. Not most of the time anyway.

I always use my own gender. The only exception is either the Soulcaliber or Dead or Alive franchise, the chicks in those games are, how shall I say.... entertaining to watch :p

I play as either or. In Skyrim I'm a girl where as in Mass Effect I'm John Shepard (cause he's just so damn cool!). Ultimately I suppose I'd be a male more than a female.
