TPB Trackers "D.O.S."

Torrents that are tracked by tpb trackers give a "connection refused" message. One of them even says "Forbidden" straight up. There hasn't been any seeding activity since downloading ceased, and the torrent announcing "Forbidden" will not finish downloading.

My questions are, why, and how can I get around this?

don't try to download anything which only has a TPB tracker,they haven't worked since they lost the lawsuit quite some time ago.

I see. Does trying to downloading with TPB trackers cause any security risk since the loss of this lawsuit?

And I don't suppose there is a workaround for the completion of the torrent I am trying to download? If I'm guessing correctly, simply adding a tracker to the list won't work at all.

simply adding trackers to the tracker list often can help for sick torrents.
cant offer any lists off the top of my head but there are many around

the trackers are dead so they aren't showing any info.i usually delete any trackers that aren't working or are suspicious looking from my downloads.sometimes i'll remove all but one.

you can try adding trackers and may have some luck if they are in use elsewhere.sometimes you can use the or read torrent source page: to try finding working trackers on other sites the files are located at.

After looking into the source pages and finding a few other trackers, those that were found have been added and my fingers are crossed in hopes that a seed will show up. Extra peers were found through adding the tracker so this shows that it works. I will make use of source pages from now on.
