Best Band Ever

Regarding poll list it would be The Stones

Led Zep top it for me tho followed by Muse!

personally i think the post is rigged as there will never be a best band ever.
The stones have done some songs that are the donkeys bollox and no one can ever do better. My issue is the same can be said of Led zep grateful dead jefferson airplane the cream jimi hendrix experience and blh blah blah. just way too many that have done incredible music. For me the best band ever is the webz. so much that is just so good it cannot be ignored.
add to that equation the site IH and you will find that the best band is us we the listener and the diversity of what is out there is simply mindblowing. Listen to music form the floyd after 25 years and I get chicken skin (gooses bumps) the same to be said of at least a hundred other bands.
For me the best band ever is who i listen to right now and right now i is listening to the doobie brothers live.

Metallica is winning, so obviously the poll is correct Very Happy

Though Pink Floyd should be on the list with a close 2nd...

I think I'll put my two cents in here. To choose from the list I'd say The Who. If you asked my buddy, he'd say Led Zep. My personal favorite, and I'm guessing someone will have something to say about is, it The Moody Blues. I like Def Leppard too but wouldn't put them on the list.

Metallica @#$%! Shred. Of the 5 listed its hard to go past em. If it went on sales figures I think the Stones and Kiss would prob edge them out, if it went on download figures that may be a different story. Glad they're smashing the vote.

Best ever band? Well... tuff question! Let me think...
Probably Led Zeppelin ... or Pink Floyd . Both were very popular and have a lot of excelent albuns. Laughing

The Beatles, The Kinks or Roling Stones are not in the same level. Besides the fact wich is just impossible for Pearl Jam, Red Hot, U2 or any recent band receives this award. Rolling Eyes

There isnt an answer that can possibly be correct as in a known fact, its subjective and because there are so many different genres the best band ever is a bit of a silly poll. Especially this list....had to go with Metallica even though they arent the best on the list, because their music is more favourable to me in general, even though they are a bunch of fan-alienating self-important pricks. (just my opinion)

My favourite band (as if it isnt obvious!) is Deftones. Other bands have come and gone, different tastes have come and gone, Deftones are pretty much the one band i listen to all the time. So for me its Deftones. But im not narrow minded enough ti appreciate that there are plenty of "better" bands...

As regards the topic name, none of them.

As regards the list, I think the Best on the list is probably Metallica.

Maybe an honorary title for the Rolling Stones, due to their longevity, but 40 years of farewell and greatest hits tours, does not make a great band. I saw them a couple of years ago, it was like looking at my granny doing a striptease.

Never knew that lotto about The Cockroaches my son loved the annoying Wiggles ..I did see on the news onetime Greg Page had to retire to do with the nervous system ..
