The original film had a great story but I always thought it seemed too short, Hollywood have a great chance to make a great film providing they stick to the way films were made in the 80's and tell a great story and not rely heavily on CGI special effects which we all know and can see are so fake.

So, to answer Hubbs' question, yes this will be full of CGI green screen special effects like 95% of films now made and will probably contain about 25 minutes of actual dialogue/story.

I loved the original movie but Hollywood, right now, is only banking on the nostalgic films that adults want to share with their children. I think it's going to be crap, and I doubt I'll watch it.

you didnt like the original? loved it when i was a kid Shocked

i led a sheltered youth
not sure if another will do it justice although i gota say wild hogs was awful. time will tell, i got my daughter to watch original and she didnt like it, maybe she will like the new one
