Add "iso" to your search query.

Also you can burn any format to DVD, Just use convertx2dvd or other convert/burning software.

Why would anybody upload the iso file for a movie? For a game possibly but for a movie the uploader would first have to make an iso....an unnecessary additional step that makes little sense.

If you're looking for the original untampered content.......you might look for files that end in .vob extentions. Those would be straight rips. Be advised you might not always find what you are looking for in this format.

However, if your only interest is to watch a movie on your tv using your dvd player.....your best option is forget all this and check out convertxtodvd. That will allow you to write any format to dvd, so that they will play on your player. Simplest solution.

Edit: Here is LC's ConvertX Guide http://isohunt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=178405&highlight=convertxtodvd

Full quality DVD rips will usually be a folder called Video TS it will contain .VOB files which are the movie, menus, alternate camera angles, and special features. also .VTS files are data for the DVD player. for a DVD this will be about 9GB for a Blu-Ray it will be 25 or 50GB. These can play in VLC or be burnt to a DVD/BD to play on a TV

But more common are the compressed copies at 600-900MB and 1.3-1.6GB these are converted into 1 file (ie. .avi, .mp4, .m4v, .mkv). these can be played in many more ways but aren't always as high quality. MPEG 4 and Matroska Videos do have the capability to be uncompressed full HD quality though.

to better clarify what the previous poster posted if the ripper knows what they are doing any bdrip/brrip mkv will be better than a dvdrip regardless of what they ripped it as.

if you are looking for 4-9GB dvd iso's you would do better to look for 4-9GB 720p (4-8GB) or 1080p (8GB+). the quality will be far superior and they can be burnt to disc with convertxtodvd or similar so long as you have a good set of codecs like CCCP.

i bebieve this is still the latest convertx, you need winrar to unpack and then just follow the instructions in the nfo file to install

https://isohunt.com/torrent_details/299279909/PC+VSO+ConvertXtoDVD+v4.1.19.365+Final+%2B+Serial+%5BThumperRG%5D?tab=summary

mostly all i get are mkv i'm hdmi'd to a tv so i don't burn much anymore just use the player that comes with CCCP.
