New layout, new kit

Recently bought these...

Razer Naga MMO along with a Roccat Sota mouse pad...

I've never owned a proper gaming mouse before or a premium mouse pad for that matter but the difference is ridiculous. The Naga MMO just glides across the pad and makes aiming in shooters about ten times easier. It's also good for MMOs which the Naga is designed for. It has a numbered keypad where your thumb is so no need to be clicking abilities. I'm using these in combination with my Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard which I find much more comfortable than a regular keyboard...

I was using my PC with my 42 inch HDTV but decided it a bit overkill and reverted back to monitor only. Because I no longer had use of TV speakers I grabbed a Logitech Z323 Speaker System. It pisses all over my TV speakers for sound quality and volume, surprised I never got proper desktop speakers sooner...

Lastly I just ordered myself a new [url=BenQ XL2420T 24 inch Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor]http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-XL2420T-Widescreen-Multimedia-1920x1080/dp/B005XZBMTU/ref=pd_bxgy_computers_img_b[/url] which packs excellent specs compared to my 4 year old VGA only monitor. It also supports 3D Vision 2 so I also snagged a pair of Nvidia 3D Vision 2 Wireless Glasses.

I've also been busy breaking down the top half my desk and trying to make the whole thing comfortable and presentable. Pic below...

That's some good choice kit.
I can vouch for the Logitech speakers, I have 3 sets of various models and would choose them again. I used to just buy Cambridge Soundworks audio, but can't find any locally
I have a lot of gaming mates who swear by the R.A.T. mice, but that one looks awesome.

looks very nice set up pac. may be a stupid question but is pc gaming still popular? i thought it died out when decent consoles came out like play stations and x box's. seems like lots of people on here pc game, are they better or as good as consoles again. technology is always getting better i suppose

Actually its very intuitive, if I can use it with no issues you guys would be fine. It makes using skills so much easier on The Old Republic. It even makes a difference in FPS for things such as selecting equipment and whatnot (you can assign macros anyway). It's a very nice bit of kit in terms of performance and looks. The Razer logo actually pulsates which I think looks pretty cool (it's always the little things).

On another not I've had a few problems since making this thread. The payment for the monitor kept bouncing due to the bank blocking my card for some reason. The money for the 3D glasses went through though...twice. Tried to buy credit for my phone to call the bank but what do you know, I can't do that because I need the card to purchase credit and the thing is blocked!! So I nick my dad's phone and find out that my card was blocked by the bank but it can't be unlocked till the next day. Just to make things worse, the glasses have arrived today and I have no 3D monitor to try them with!! Mad

It's unblocked now though and I just re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-ordered the flaming monitor. Should have ordered headache pills to go with it...
