Underworld: Awakening

Seen the trailer on IMDb and it looks very poor indeed, hardly any different from the last films with almost the same cam angles and ideas used again for the action.

No clue about the plot, sounds daft, Selene in a coma for 15yrs, wakes up and finds out she has a daughter (from where? and since when do Vamps have kids?) and something about a company making super lycans!!? sounds crap, mix of 'Resi Evil' and 'Alien Res' almost!

This will ruin the franchise I'm sure much like Blade III did.

Ps. I love vamp and werewolf flicks but this seems to be really milking it and retreading old ground.

I dont give a shit as long as Selene is back in it, I loved the first 2 underworld films, turned the 3rd one off after 10 mins, looked like Harry Potter. Kate Beckinsale

... iff give it go hubb, Atleast the vamops sont have about 20 teeth in most recent films out,,,grrrrrr i so dont like them ones Razz

To be honest i think the Underworlds are mixed up a little, like Star Wars, played backwards or something, i think Underworld goes 3,1 then 2, i think so somewhere in there Selene must have a kid but i could be wrong. Very Happy

Actually Hubbs I think I is gonna like this one.
I might be a little weird but this movies looks like it may well give what Res Evil promised and failed to deliver.
Now I don't expect the movie to win any awards for creative brilliance but I have put in my january order for
A crate of Beer
A tub of popcorn
And a heavy duty spliff.
If nothing else I expect 90 minutes of kickass throat biting/slicing action by one this worlds sexiest bitches alive.
As for the dogs/lycans I always did like the special effects used by the team that make these movies.

Villan92 xX, i'm with u there. So true about the story plot seemed to be going backwards but I love them anyway.

I'm looking forward to this movie. I've enjoyed all of them, but I feel like they're getting worse as the series goes on. Oh well.

I forsee this movie being a lot of slow motion fighting...

I'm also with Villan92, I got a bit confused with the 3rd movie kept wondering when the guy from the 1st 2 films was going to show up until I realized it was set in the past.

Isn't Bella from Twilight also going to be having a child in the 4th film, only it will be the other way around, Vampire father, human mother, I don't know if any of you know or remember but the series Angel (played by David Boreanaz) also had a child towards the end, but that was some vamp on vamp action. Laughing

Maybe Joss Whedon was the pioneer and didn't even know it.

Big fan the Underworld series. Didn't know a new one was coming, as been stated earlier I hope it isn't a let down. Thats all.

Vamps have kids since Twilight sadly. I honestly don't care how it's filmed i just love Underworld so i will watch it

i'm going to be optimistic as i like's the first two Smile

so like you said hubbs i hope it doesnt ruin the franchise like resident evil did!!! the last one of that was an abomination !!!!!
