I have been using uTorrent to download files, which has been working perfectly for a few years until this past week, all of a sudden, none of my music files will download. I got Vuze, thinking it was just a uTorrent problem, but the same thing, it wont let me download. My internet is working fine, I'm very confused. Someone help!

mit23 - I looked up your isp, google your isp followed by "blocking p2p" you may have a problem. If you tell people who it is (I don't want to as only mods can tell besides the user) they may offer some more opinions.

Search for the name of my isp with blocking p2p? I did that and nothing came up about any recent surge in blocking, if that's what you mean. Forgive my ignorance, I'm not exactly very tech savvy.

My isp is Cox, btw, which is awful, but is the only option where I am.

there are ways to recieve files other than p2p, but that doesnt solve the problem with your ISP. The best is to find an ISP that allows p2p and has no plans of changing, so you can tell cox that you have no confidence in them anymore, and they no longer provide a service you are interested in
