This is interesting, it seems fans are not happy with what they have seen in LA.

One of the complaints was ....... "it was too accurate, too clear"
Well if that's a complaint I'll be complaining all the way through the film.

I think I can understand what they are getting at though, if it's ruining the special effects and making them too obvious then it's going to kill the immersion. There is no point in worrying about movies before release anyway, they tend to be tidied up by release.

............ the film was filmed in 48 fps, most cinemas can only handle 24fps - hence the comment "made for TV" as new HD tele's can handle 48fps, mine certainly can soooooooooo bring on the Hobbit !!

Funny that, I had a call from Austar today saying the usual 'hi we are doing a customer survey in blah blah blah etc.....' So I'm in the middle of buying a car. I said 'sure, whatever you want' knowing that out of ear shot is the salesman for the car I bought. I'm getting a 51" TV next week for almost nothing and ended up with all the HD channels for buggers all on top of what I'm paying already for my Austar. Then I get all the insurances and everything on the car as well thrown in. I can't get ripped off any more by the NWO surely, they've got everything except my family. If I'm quick, I can sell the kid.........The missus will just have to work harder.........The bloody cars for her anyway...Damn it, I bought her a car before she got her licence which we have driven around in for the last umpteen months, then she somehow gets this car which is 3 times the value of the first one, and I have to end up driving the cheap pile of shite......FOR THE LOVE OF GOD....DO NOT GET MARRIED........ I've decided my next marriage will be with a man...but without any form of sexual connection because I'm just not that way inclined. That way I can watch the footy and get take outs every day but call in a hooker every now and then for my 'relief' and my 'partner' will just say 'yer, good on ya blue' which translated in to English meaning 'yes, it is all good there pip pip tally ho ol chap' or something like that. FFS, how do women do it..................................

Oh, on a serious note, does anyone know if Plasma TV's (HD) can handle this 'frames per second' thing that you guys are talking about? Apparently this Vivo 51" thing is HD. Not sure but it was on special for AU$399 so went mad with the credit card. Still trying to work out how they'll deliver it to the middle of Oz for $29....But hey, all in the deal Smile
