we have some default bans in place, for example, you can't join if you are in #demonoid or #torrentialstorm, also some host masks we keep banned, like aol, or .fr.

Is the ban that's demonoid related because demonoid is a closed torrent organization? Do you do that for the rest of the "closed" sites out there too?

And i'm on roadrunner.

I also tried a different name but got the same result in the chat.

No, most demonoid users are annoying little dipshits, so we weed them out Smile

generally though, if the user asks about it, we add an exception. feel free to message me (/msg valect) when you're connected next time, i might be around.

i dont irc on demonoid.. but does that make me an annoying little dipshit? Shocked

now that you say this makes me want to start mIRc'ing to see what im missing out on... although on past experiences on irc its like watching the grass grow Confused
