This is certainly great news, and an affirmation of the value of content distribution over the internet. You know, 2 billion dollars can buy some nice things. But the fact that they can't seem to make up their mind on whether they want to sue ( and sue ) or buy is causing some slight unease.

We are waiting on a pending offer by Yahoo. If it works out, we can buy a few more international waters oil rigs and invite everyone to a massive party. There will be a lot of fish, I assure you. More news to follow.

Note: In case you didn't get a hint or the memo, April 1 = April fools joke day.

Yayyyyyy Aprrillllll F0000000's !

But if it really would've been tru then it would be harmful for isohunt.
But I think viacom would rather sue isohunt cause they r butt buds with RIAA

A'ha... These are the steps Viacom will take :
- first they will sue Isohunt for 1 b. (win)
- then they sue You Tube for 1 b.(win)
- then they sue Google for 1 b.(win)
.... and then they will buy you for 2.5 b (making a better offer than Yahoo).
This very elaborate and super cunning strategy will stop the piracy all over the world in Anno Domini 3011.

Will you (the creator(s)) of this site start a new one if Viacom buys you out?

If Viacom already owns neopets, mtv, nickelodeon, and other big companies or shows

Why do they need to buy isohunt

And what would happen if they bought isohunt

will they charge for the torrents?

They were there before microsoft. We are in a society that plays with fake money and their friends Smile I hate it more than you know.
How can we have a chance? 95 % of souls sell out eventually.
Kind of sick when you think about it.
when they stop playing around maybe we can all do some good for the world.

Oh come on, 73% of statistics are just made up!

Re: 2x10^9 Dollars
Then I want my $20 I contributed back last time the site went down!

Internet money is crazy. But then I guess all 'real' money is too. All that money for things like youtube. I guess they have a lot of storage since they can host so much videos. And I can imagine Google being valued. I must use it 50 times a day. But then it is just some pictures on my interactive TV screen. I was thinking, hmm, I want to see what gets built in Richmond with that money.
