I wonder if it isn't working on my Win7 64-bit install because I rebooted and ran AnyDVD before applying the reg key. I tried uninstalling, and re-installing using the method I used on my other OSes, and it still says the trial has expired. I guess I need to figure out how to clean the registry of the trial crap, and do a completely clean install, as something is obviously being left behind after uninstalling. You have to install the software, and tell it not to reboot, then apply the key reg BEFORE rebooting the computer. If you try to do it after rebooting, it will not work! If you run into the problem where it doesn't work and you get the trial has expired issue, you have to uninstall, reboot, then search through the registry for "anydvd" and delete anything it finds. As with previous versions, I install, patch and reboot all with the machine disconnected from all networks and I lock the prog behind the firewall. You need to use RegVac to do a DEEP registry cleaning if you messed up a previous installation. You can find instructions in the post by missandmisterkinky for another AnyDVD thread, at the following link: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/110908861/anydvd?tab=comments&sid=f9044636135d6a6214c665e3caef0f66 A previous poster mentioned that RegVac isn't working for him. This may be because you need to reboot your computer after cleaning the registry and before installing AnyDVD. I had a thousand falied installations with the "trial expired" message before I figured this out, but after I cleaned registry THEN REBOOTED it installed without a problem.
