how do you install?

Open the .nfo files with wordpad and follow directions to install, its not hard. Thanks so much uploader, only played through a few minutes but great so far! install is direct and to the point. Also tells how to set up for online play on non steam servers. WORKS PERFECT SO FAR!

i can't get it to work, when i install and it launch the game it stops at : loading..

I've done everything right...steam is running too...but when i run the game and the video of the game ends says "No permition to run L4d2". Anyone knows what can i do to run the game??

works perfectly, this version has no flaws, at all. a superb copy, i seeded for 72 hours, the up speed was so high that it took forever, but the game is totaly worth it, thank you uploader

come on please tell me which file should i install first and where do i have to put a map into another map, i really want it to work plz help me:)

finally i got some parts of the installing to work, now i just need how find out how to - pretend STEAM IS RUNNING TO COULD PLAY THE GAME

I'm pretty positive i installed everything correctly, when i click on the logo to start the game, it looks like its working but then stops at "loading..." screen? Saying "No permission to run L4D2"? Please help me :( waited 2 days to download, and used up practically all this months internet!

DIDNT WORK

there must be something i'm doing wrong when im installing. I got the same problem as " SMITH" it says: steam needs to be running .. Instead of writing - it works great and i just finished mission 1 - write instead how to install it

I got it to work finally. Just followed " warfox " instructions, and then it worked. Its actually pretttttttty awesome. But haven't tried it online yet.

i don't think its avaiable to play online in this game, because its a crack vers. you'll would probelty need a file or something...

i just beat the second level on single player, but the game isn't as fun if not online, there must be some way to play it! pleaseee..

in any case, does anyone know of a multiplayer crack for call of duty 2, or any of the other call of duty's, they're all getting patched...sucks.

Install Notes

1. Extract Left 4 Dead 2 folder from rar archive to a normal directory such as C:\Program Files\
2. Go to crack folder and update game to latest patch(Currently 2.0.0.7) using L4D2FullUpdate2007SN.exe, point it to your L4D2 install folder.
3. Install L4D2RevEmu9.81R4SN.exe by pointing it to your install directory as well.
4. Go into your Left 4 Dead\bin\config folder and make sure Masterserver.vdf is Read-Only by right click, properties, then check read only and apply.
5. Edit rev.ini with notepad to change your name. [SteamUser=YourName and PlayerName=YourName]
6. (Optional) Create a shortcut and add this without brackets ( -console -novid -nohltv -serverbrowser) to it's target field to be able to see a list of cracked servers from your server browser. Do that by right clicking the shortcut and selecting properties the target field should look like this. :\Program Files (x86)\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2.exe" -console -novid -nohltv -serverbrowser
7. Play the game.
