Microsoft restricts Windows media player from many available formats for their own fiscal gain. You're obviously naive about this torrent downloading business - VLC is mentioned in every second torrent and is a great freeware app, so maybe take a few seconds to learn about it all before offering your loud opinion. At times (often vital to the plot) they say the exact opposite of what is actually being said. As long as you understand Scandinavian I'd recommend it, otherwise I would find another torrent. Sorry. This does not detract from enjoyment of the films however, which are very entertaining. The films deviate from the books somewhat, though clearly necessary due to the authors’ penchant for detail. Actually manages to mess up many of the dialogues, and even translate some sentences in such a way that they end up meaning the opposite... F*** hard subs... I can't get any subtitles though and there don't appear to be any .srt files in the folder to merge with the .mkvs....
