Ok, here's the trick to getting it to play.
Unrar
mount/install
Launch game AND LET IT PATCH
When it's done patching close it out
Apply both cracks as directed
Now here's what I did to make it work for me. Open your firewall (windows firewall for me) and create a program blocked connection.
Make your firewall block both Starcraft II.exe and MapEditor.exe
Now launch the game as directed, play and enjoy!
Rate this if it helped
Why dont you see for yourself instead of asking other users to do the work for you.
IM NOT SURE, but the torrent file:
StarCraft 2 Wings Of Liberty (CLONEDVD)(WITH WORKING CRACK)(www.D...
that i just downloaded is crap. dont download that one. jaz gona give you wasted time. i also have maxed my 12gb download limit so i have to download next month as new games today are so huge.
Unpack with Winrar or equal program the game and included fix in the Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty Crack Only folder.
Burn or mount image.
Install game and skip the register part and once game is finished installing LET it update as it will do it twice and time varies on your internet speed.
Go to the included fix folder named lty-sc2c.
Now copy the Battle.net-patch.mpq file from the lty-sc2c folder to your game install directory and find the folder Battle.net and go into it and copy and paste the Battle.net-patch.mpq file and overwriting the one in there with this one.
Now copy the SC2.exe file from the lty-sc2c folder to your game install directory and find a folder named Versions and go into it and then go into a folder named Base15405 and copy and paste the SC2.exe file and overwriting the one in there with this one.
Now go back into the main part of the game install directory and you will see a exe file named StarCraft II and make a shortcut from this file to your desktop as it will make it easy to launch then.
8 Launch game from this file or shortcut on your desktop and start the game by pressing on the orange campaign button, not sure how to exit the game but F10 will give you options while you are in the game to quit the campaign and once back at the start were the orange campaign button is i just press the windows key on the keyboard to minimize the window and then close it from the taskbar as i see no quit button in the first screen.
To use a save after you have the game closed out as the game autosaves, just go into My Documents and find a folder named StarCraft II and go into it and then go into the save folder and you should see a file named LibertyCampaignSave and just double click on it and it will launch the game and you can continue were you left off in your campaign, but i think it only saves after you complete a campaign as in the middle of one it doesn't save, this way you don't lose you spot in the game.
Also you can make a shortcut to your desktop from this LibertyCampaignSave file and launch it from your desktop instead of always going into My Docucents and then to that folder.
I did what the readme says but when I start the game it keeps updating until it finds a md5 sum mismatch. The firewall thing doesn't work: it just waits for a connection.
If you disconnect from internet it works but you can play only the compaign and the tutorial. The singleplayer part of the game needs internet access.
I have just tried to install this four times, I've disconnected from the internet, tried (but not quite figured out how) to block SCII and Map Editor from gaining access to the net... although if you're offline, that shouldn't matter...
It slaps me in the face with the bitter truth. I must purchase the full game to access single player content. I can't even play tutorials. I don't know if there is a way to get this to work. Alternatively, if somebody could just grab that pesky Authentication file Blizzard is trying to patch, couldn't it be avoided?
i mount the image file, then autorun starts but tells me i dont have enough free disk space to install. but i have 26,5 GB free space on drive E. any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem as SubSidium.
I get it running and it goes to the Main Menu screen with the planet and the ship going by. But no menu! Please help!
