Season 1, Episode 1: Genesis: Part 1 & 2 Original Air Date—26 September 2011 The Shannon family joins the Tenth Pilgrimage of settlers to Terra Nova, the first colony established in this beautiful yet foreboding land. Jim Shannon, a devoted father with a checkered past, guides his family through this new world of limitless beauty, mystery and terror. Upon the Shannons' arrival, they are introduced to Cmdr. Nathaniel Taylor, the charismatic and heroic first pioneer and leader of the settlement. Some sites (like IMDB) apparently labels that as ep 1 in its entirety, while other sites (like tv.com) labels it as eps 1+2. The uploader(s) seem to follow the system on tv.com, which makes this episode 4 even though it's only the third instalment to air. Hope that clears things up.
