I too get the error
how did you fix the mounting error, I have the same problem. I am using Power ISO and Virtual clone. Everytime I load it up on either one of these virtual drives it says the file is corrupt.
If you meet the tiny window problem just go to where your skyrim game is installed
C:\Program Files\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\Skyrim
open SkyrimPrefs.ini then change these lines
(use your own resolutions settings)
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=768
iSize W=1024
save. and repeat this operation in C:\Documents and Settings\User name...(daniel or françis or whatever...)\My documents\My Games\Skyrim
with again the SkyrimPrefs.ini , save and launch the game using TESV.exe
For those wondering what to do with the downloaded files
rzr-skrm.001
rzr-skrm.002
rzr-skrm.003
rzr-skrm.004
...
etc... Open rzr-skrm.001 with WINRAR you will see a ISO called rzr-skrm.iso 5.5GB extract it and mount it on your virtual drive .
How did you get it to work? I mounted the iso, ran the Razor installer and it puts the skyrim shortcut on my desktop and all but when i try run it it runs a Steam Error that says Application load error 5:0000065434
I got it, installed fine, but when I play the world is a jumbled mess, as if the landscape is all streched out.
img401.imageshack.us/img401/9038/regiond.png
What's going on? I reinstalled the game 3 times and each it does this. It's just random jibberish. I can't see the character to suctomize it, and when it gets to where I can move around well, I can't see squot but the little markers.

I'd love to. I have a Dell Dell Inspiron 15 (1545) Laptop running Vista, and every time I have tried to update it says I have the latest drivers and thus wont install anything that may be an update.
So I still don't know what to do to allow this game to work.
when i mount the game and click the setup.exe i get
"This version of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or an x64 (64-bit) version of the program"
Any ideas?
Thanks

sounds like you're trying to run it from whatever you're using poweriso etc rather than going to computer and running the mounted iso.if you have it mounted in whatever you're using and go there a razor installer will open up and install the game.
you did use 7zip or similar to unzip the file to create the iso didn't you
The following are the official minimum requirements:
Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor
2GB System RAM
6GB free HDD Space
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM
DirectX compatible sound card
Internet access for Steam activation
And the recommended requirements:
Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
4GB System RAM
6GB free HDD space
DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher).
DirectX compatible sound card
Internet access for Steam activation
minimum just means it will maybe run the game but probably quite poorly.the closer you are to the recommended the better your experience will be.

Every update I have tried to find says I don't have the min requirements to use. Lapys just scarsly a year old. It HAS the min requirements. 64 bit vista, Duo core, 4 gigs ram, direct 9, over 200gigs free. Shoot I run Arkham Asylum on this with no lag or troubles at all. Skyrim just trips out.
