It may be just me, but the keygen does not seem to work for this 2009 version.

I downloades this and the keygen worked fine, but now when I actually wanted to unlock the maps, I discovered my keygen is missing. I guessed metacafe erased it. BUt now I try to redownload only the keygen file but time and time again, my key gen is not in the key gen folder. Does my computer erase this file the whole time? What could I do to get this damn keygen, im going to pull out all my hair if I cant get this damn thing to work.

The maps work perfectly. I ended up downloading a different keygenerator because I thought this one wasn't working but this one did end up working in the end.
If you need more help on how to unlock the maps, I made some detailed comments on lines 57 and 58 of the other keygenerator I used (link is below). I'm not the smartest when it comes to computers, so if I can get this figured out, you can to.

Downloaded and installed it no problems. Scanned it before and after install and no virus warning for me. I only used the maps though, I didn't download mapsouce or the keygen. Maybe that's where the virus was.

Can somebody help please i am really struggling with these garmin files, i have now downloaded a few versions of the updates and cant work out how to install them :o(

ok, here's how to make this puppy work. The instructions with the files are confusing!
Do not use the setup from Windows folder! Install from the IMG folder with your desired language as above per IMG file eg: CNEUNT2009Update_NLD (ENU is English) Connect GPS, get device ID (Utilities -> Get Unit ID) Open Keygen v1.5. On bottom box, Use dropdown menu under Map Product to select <custom mapset>, and for popup box, FID (MapID) put 378, then Generate to get unlock code. Open MapSource Utilities->Map Product Manager -> Unlock regions-> Add. Enter Unlock code. City Navigator 2009 shows up in box and you are all set!
